Our friend, colleague and translator extra-ordinaire Sean Feng, Director of Education of Haiwen in Shenzen, China and organiser of the Centers’ Gathering in Beijing last year extends a personal invitation.
“I am writing on behalf of our center in Beijing to recruit teachers/leaders/counselors to work in Beijing for a contract period of 10 months between March 15 and December 31, 2017.
Who do we need?
Our job opening is in the field of relationship enhancement, individual and couple coaching/counselling and team building. The work format includes providing/offering presentations, discussion groups, counselling, etc to our residents; designing customer-tailored workshops in our market place; and supporting other team members in their workshops, events and activities. People with additional skills such as parenting, creative expression through the arts, and healing modalites, and who are willing to be flexible in working hours and location, would be our priority for consideration.
In order to meet the Chinese government’s requirements for Work Visas, we require that any interested job applicant has, at a minimum, a university bachelor’s degree.
Who are we?
Our center is called the House of I. Our mission is to cultivate a culture of personal well being and holistic growth, and of taking good care of the community and the environment. Our location is 90 kilometers to the northwest of Beijing, a 25 minute drive past the Great Wall of China. We are a part of a large community of over 1500 homes. We were established in 2014. Our heritage is rooted in the ideas and traditions of the Haven Foundation of BC, Canada. The Haven believes that people can best grow in relationships. We see relationship metaphorically as a garden for nourishing and supporting each individual’s growth.
What do we provide and how much do we pay?
We pay an average of $4500 US after tax monthly as fixed salary. We are open to explore and discuss ranges of salaries based on any individual conditions and request. In addition we provide free housing, and one round international airfare (including Beijing Airport pick-up and delivery) from your home country during the contract period.
We look forward to hearing from you, and would also appreciate your recommendation of this opportunity to your colleagues and friends. Please do not hesitate to contact me for any general questions and inquiries. For any questions on specifics and details, if I am not able to respond adequately or accurately, I will invite our project manager Eric Li to respond.
