Omega Institute invites people involved with holistic learning centers to gather together to learn from one another, share stories, and benefit from the experience of experts in the field. During Omega’s 18 years, we have had many opportunities to work with several other centers in the United States and abroad. Within this developing network, we’ve found many valuable skills and experience to share.
This gathering is the first organised by Omega to bring together colleagues from centers large and small, old and new. During our time together we focus on developing the specific skills necessary to run a successful center, identifying and resolving problems within a given organization, and learning ways to actualize our visions. Special presentations explore: legal issues of nonprofit versus profit structures; fund raising; direct marketing; public relations and advertising campaigns; strategies for financial viability; developing a vision for the future; organizational structure; and the Internet, Online and CD-ROM.
This is an excellent opportunity to meet with others in the holistic studies field who are doing much the same work and struggling with many of the same issues. It is open to anyone involved in creating, managing, or supporting an educational, cultural or spiritual center.
